Bob Semenza was raised in New Rochelle, New York and graduated from Iona College. He has pursued two careers - as a partner at KPMG, a multinational accounting firm, and a professor of accounting at Quinnipiac University.
In addition, he has pursued a variety of other interests, including those of an author, composer and blogger.
He has coauthored a published book on corporate scandal and self published several memoirs on growing up in an Italian family and neighborhood, and caring for his wife who suffered from Parkinson’s Disease.
His coping with the stresses of caregiving is included in a published book, “If You Care - The Unexpected Magic of Caring for Others,” by Elissa Strauss. He has also made presentations on Caregiving at various interested groups in the Saratoga Springs area.
